Patient Information

  • Been receiving active cancer treatment for tumors or cancers of the blood.
  • Received an organ transplant and are taking medicine to suppress the immune system.
  • Received a stem cell transplant within the last two years or are taking medicine to suppress the immune system.
  • Moderate or severe primary immunodeficiency (such as DiGeorge syndrome, Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome).
  • Advanced or untreated HIV infection.
  • Active treatment with high-dose corticosteroids or other drugs that may suppress your immune response.

At this time, booster shots are only approved for these indications and Prism Health Lab will notify you when they become available to the general public.

Appointment Guidance

  8. If this is your second dose, please write down any side effects you may have experienced during the first vaccine and report it to the clinical staff before you take the second dose. Specifically, take note of any allergic reaction, shortness of breath, prolonged fever, or body aches.
  9. You will be required to wear a mask during your appointment.
